Cleveland State’s off-campus center in Athens provides students who live and/or work in and around McMinn, Meigs, and Monroe counties with a convenient location to take classes, conduct college business, and access various student services. More specifically, the Athens Center offers the full range of developmental studies courses and most of the general education and core courses required in the College’s certificate and degree programs. The site also provides students with the opportunity to discuss certificate and degree requirements, apply for admission, obtain information on financial aid, submit documents related to admissions and financial aid, register for classes, pay tuition and fees, access a video library, testing center, and conduct on-line research.

Testing Center
How to Schedule a Test:
Schedule to take your test at least 12 hours in advance

This ensures that a seat is available for you and that we will have the testing materials for your specific exam.

- Accuplacer College Placement Exam
Free practice material is available. It is recommended to set up a free account to take practice tests. NOTE: For Accuplacer math practice, choose Quantitative Reasoning and Statistics. - CSCC Course Exams
Get permission from your instructor prior to scheduling. - CSCC Graduation Exit Exam
This exam (aslo called the ETS Proficiency Profile) is required for all graduating students who have submitted their intent to graduate form. Click for sample questions. - CSCC Program Test
Students recieving an AAS degree who have been notified to take this exam must do so after fall or spring break in the semester in which they are graduating. To schedule the Graduation Exit Exam and Program Test back-to-back, check the available dates and times of both exams to schedule accordingly. - Correspondence Exams

Information to Know in Advance:
- The CSCC Athens Testing Center is located in Room 169 inside the McMinn Higher Education Center (MHEC) at 2345 Denso Drive in Athens TN.
- Schedule to take a test at least 12 hours in advance at https://mycs.cc/testing.

You must present your picture ID to the test proctor after arriving. A test will not be administered without identification.
- No cell phones, smartwatches, or other personal items (e.g., backpack, purse, etc) are allowed while testing. Any such itemsbrought to the Testing Center must be locked in a small locker in the check-in room. Only instructor-approved items (e.g., calculator, notes, etc) are permitted while testing.

Scratch paper and calculators (if permitted for a test) are provided by the Testing Center. Please do not bring these items. Students who use scratch paper must return it to the proctor after completing a test.
- Do not bring food or drinks to the Testing Center.
- No children are allowed in the Testing Center.
- To ensure academic integrity, testing security measures include random walk-throughs, computer monitoring software, and cameras.
- A test must be completed in one sitting. Students are not allowed to leave and return to finish the same test.
- If a student is caught cheating on a test, he/she will be reported to the instructor for disciplinary action.
- Students must contact their instructor concerning grades.
